Meet 5 listening course (14 september – 20 september)
At the fifth week meeting of the listening course, I studied several materials related to communication in business, such as material on making plans by email, keeping clients informed, and informal communication.
Making plans by email
English uses a variety of phrases to make and check plans with co-workers by email. It is important to ensure that even informal messages are polite. After studying this material, I understand how to make plans by email and the key language used.
Keeping clients informed
Use the present continuous to inform clients about current situation and future arrangements. Continuous tenses can also soften questions and requests. This material also discusses how to use the present continuous to inform clients and the key language of the present continuous.
Informal communication
Phrasal verbs are often used here. Phrasal
verbs have two or more parts. They are often used in informed spoken and
written English, in things such as messages and requests to co-workers. In this
material, also explained about key language: phrasal verbs, further examples:
phrasal verbs, key language: separable phrasal verbs, and further examples:
separable phrasal verbs.
From all the material that has been given, I think I still need to learn more about this material because I do not fully understand this material. I hope that when the offline lectures have been carried out, the lecturers have time to explain the material about phrasal verbs.
That's my blog for today, thank you. See
you on the sixth blog meet.
