MEET 11 IIEC WRITING
Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatu. hello welcome to blog. My name is SANTI AULIAH, from the English language study program class A, class of 2021. Here I will write a few sentences about my hometown and reflect on the material at the 11th meeting of the writing course according to the instructions given by the writing lecturer. Below are some sentences that I have made.
1. I
come from Jeneponto, a district in South Sulawesi.
2. Jeneponto
Regency, known for its high-quality corn harvest.
3. Jeneponto
has a variety of unique and delicious traditional foods.
4. There
are lots of cool tourist attractions in Jeneponto.
Below are some sentences that I have made regarding reflection on the material at the 11th meeting.
1. A sentence fragment is an incomplete sentence.
2. Some fragments are incomplete because they lack either a subject or a verb, or both.
3. A complete sentence has three components.
4. The dependent clause and the independent clause can switch places, but the whole clause moves as one big chunk.
5. The fragments that most students have trouble with, however, are dependent clauses-they have a subject and a verb, so they look like complete sentences, but they don’t express a complete thought.
Enough of my work, ma'am, thank you very much :)
